Teacups

This bead is as much a reminder to me as anything.
I get so busy and in the whirl of life.

Need to slow down sometimes, take a deep breath. Smell the roses. Sip hot tea, bake homemade bread. Plant spring flowers.
Take time for smiles, for laughter, for joy.

What does it remind you to 'take time' in your busy day, your busy life - to do, or possibly NOT to do?

Lynn, that is just such a good reminder. I think most of us forget to take time out, especially when you are balancing many acts. For me, is a reminder to take time to get outside in the garden, to the park, coffee with friends. Especially, time with friends.

I love the colors on this. Baking bread would be a lovely way to slow down, I miss doing that.
Just wanted to give you a heads up after reading your etching safety post...I just bought PCB etchant from Radio Shack! I'm pretty amazed, after trying before Christmas and not being able to get it anywhere. I read a forum online where it seemed that it was still available, or available again, and it is!

Cindy, thanks for mentioning it, it may be regional. I'll try again here in the midwest, but last time I asked they didn't have it even in the warehouse. I can order it on-line, I know, just have kept going with the other etchant for now. Maybe things have changed in this area, worth investigating.

Thanks, ya'll, for noticing the bead and its message - if we keep reminding ourselves maybe it will become a practice!

Just put in a zip code...I tried a random St. Louis zip and it shows a lot of stores that have it in stock. Do you notice a difference between the different chemicals in the results of the etching? i.e. are some deeper or sharper or is it just a matter of speed?
